Dental Implantology

If you want to restore a missing tooth without grinding down the neighboring healthy teeth, dental implantation is the right choice for you.

For successful implantation, a thorough diagnostic examination and consultation with a specialist are essential. The doctor will select the appropriate implant system and determine the most suitable treatment strategy along with the following prosthetic phase. The choice of the implant system is a crucial step, as the success rate of implant integration largely depends on selecting the right implant. Implants vary in length, diameter, and material quality.
The implantologist will determine which implant is best for you, depending on the bone thickness and height of the alveolar ridge.
To determine all parameters, a panoramic X-ray must be taken before the consultation — this can be done directly at our clinic. In some cases, a CT scan may also be necessary.

At Open Dental Clinic, we offer our patients the following implant systems:
Straumann (Switzerland), MegaGen (South Korea)

Another important factor for the success of dental implantation is eliminating causes that could lead to implant rejection. The most common cause is the lack of sufficient bone volume in the jaw. This problem is easily solvable — at our clinic, we perform bone grafting (osteoplasty), which restores the necessary amount of bone tissue for successful surgery.
If implantation is planned in the upper jaw, sinus lifting may be required. This is a procedure that restores bone volume in the lateral (posterior) region of the jaw, where the floor of the maxillary sinus is gently lifted.

At our dental clinic, each patient receives an individualized tooth restoration plan. Even if you need to place multiple implants at once, hospitalization or taking time off work is not necessary.
By following all medical recommendations, we guarantee long-lasting results.
