Vector System — Gentle Gum Therapy and Implant Care
What it is:
Vector (Dürr Dental, Germany) is a targeted ultrasonic system designed for gentle subgingival cleaning of teeth and implants. It is suitable for non-surgical periodontal therapy, supportive periodontal therapy (SPT), and the prevention of implant-related complications.
How Vector Works
-
Ultrasound is transmitted strictly along the axis of the tip → minimal vibration and reduced tissue trauma.
-
Uses Vector Fluid Polish with microparticles (including hydroxyapatite) — breaks down biofilm while simultaneously polishing the root/implant surface.
-
Ceramic and carbide tips are safe for titanium and restorations, allowing effective work deep under the gum.

-
Peri-implant mucositis, preventive care around implants
